Alta Philosophy

On December 1, 2006, ALTA was acquired by Intertek plc, a global company of testing laboratories with over 350 labs and 20,000 employees worldwide. Shortly thereafter, the Intertek Pharmaceutical Services Division was formed, bringing together a global network of laboratories offering comprehensive GLP, bioanalytical LCMS, immunochemistry and cGMP analytical services to customers engaged in the research, development and manufacture of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and specialized products for the health care industry.

ALTA is a leading provider of LC-MS/MS contract services to the pharmaceutical industry and is one of the first to apply this technology to quantitative GLP studies. Our primary strength lies in our ability to rapidly develop robust and sensitive analytical methodologies and efficiently utilize these novel methods in a high throughput CRO setting.
